ELA and Reading: Targeted Skills Instruction (3rd-8th Grade)

$60 Includes tailored planning plus one 40-minute online session via Zoom or one 40-minute in-person* meeting

In preparing to work with students, I tailor each session to meet individual needs. I do this by creating custom lessons designed with your child’s age and proficiency in mind. I’ve worked with students who were struggling academically as well as students who were seeking enrichment activities. In all cases, I aim to help students progress in skills and confidence while fostering a love for learning.

When selecting literary passages to use in lessons, I scrutinize the content to make sure it does not include indoctrination of values that are contrary to Christian teachings. It is a passion of mine to serve others in a way that honors our Creator.

Online General Essay Tutoring (4th-8th Grade)

$60 Includes written feedback and suggested edits on an essay of 300-700 words plus one 40-minute Zoom session

In-Person* Supplemental or Intensive Phonics and Decoding Instruction (K-8th)

$25 Includes one 30-minute in-person* session

As a former middle school reading teacher, online literacy tutor, and teacher for my own dyslexic son, I have a unique perspective and comprehensive understanding of what it takes to help students of different ages develop the decoding skills needed to improve overall comprehension and fluency.

Whether it’s supplemental phonics instruction to cover the summer learning gap or intensive frequent practice, I’d love to help your child build confidence in reading.
